What is the difference between SPEZIAL and the HATOCH Deep Primer Remover Stick?
SPEZIAL (pH 2–4, citric acid) is intended for silicate/mineral deep primers and large areas, while the Stick (pH 7) is for acrylic/hybrid deep primers in smaller quantities. Never mix both and rinse the surface with water in between.

Is HATOCH SPEZIAL suitable for marble or natural stone?
No – the acid-based formula can attack calcareous natural stone surfaces such as marble. For these materials, we recommend the pH-neutral HATOCH Deep Primer Remover Stick.

Can I also remove deep primer from laminate?
Yes, with caution – laminate has a sealed, non-absorbent surface. For this, apply SPEZIAL to a cloth instead of spraying directly onto the floor to prevent liquid from running into the joints. Allow to act for a maximum of 8 minutes, immediately wipe dry, and test in an inconspicuous area beforehand. For specific spots, the pH-neutral 50-ml stick is the gentler choice.
